Frogghost was born during a spring shower. Literally. I was taking a shower, thought of a strange pun (Frog + Ghost = Frogghost) and the rest is history.
Actually, the rest is a pitch for a children’s book.
Frogghost’s Great Day begins like any other. He eats his breakfast and goes to sit on a seaside hill to look out at the ocean for a while. Along comes Frogghost’s best friend, Kiko the Toadstool, to whisk him away on adventure.
The duo made their way through the meadow. They passed some tulips singing a mysterious tune, swaying to and fro in the wind.
What were they singing?
Frogghost and Kiko stopping for a breath in a windy clearing. This is where I feel the world of my other illustration, Shimmering Trails, began to merge together as one.
